Leveraging additional funding into the Scottish research system and supporting the development of Early Career Researchers (ECRs) in Scotland will help us to deliver on our Alliance vision.
Support for Early Career Researchers
The Emerging Research Leaders Programme is a skills development programme for early career researchers (ECRs). Built around annual training workshops, the programme aims to support ECRs in developing skills that will increase the impact of their work and enable them to become future research leaders.

Seed Funding
We provide seed funding to drive cross-sectoral research, acting as a catalyst in the process to support ideas from inception to reality. The scope of these projects is flexible, but they should contribute to one or more of the aims of the Alliance.
