Dr Ashley Lyons

Lecturer at the University of Glasgow

Ashley Lyons is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Glasgow and a Research Fellow with the Royal Society of Engineering. His research interests lie in single photon imaging technologies and using quantum phenomena, such as entanglement, to build new forms of imaging and sensing. Together with Dr Sam Bayliss, he leads SRAEHL’s sibling Alliance, the Quantum ARC.

Dr Lyons is interested in emerging cross-disciplinary challenges and opportunities and the development of early career researchers across all sectors.
