Chris is a strategy, project management and marketing professional with over 20 years’ experience across a range of sectors.
With a specialist focus on sustainable finance, in his role as Chief Operating Officer at Global Ethical Finance Initiative (GEFI), Chris leads on strategic initiatives and events. His current portfolio includes delivering the Secretariat function for the Scottish Taskforce for Green and Sustainable Financial Services, representing Glasgow and Edinburgh in the UNDP Financial Centres for Sustainability, and leading on the design and delivery of Ethical Finance Global 2024. In 2023, Chris built a community of 60+ financial institutions and financial services stakeholders as part of GEFI’s Path to COP28, the largest finance-focused campaign for the UN Climate Summit in Dubai.
With an extensive global network and a track record of driving action, Chris is committed to ensuring finance delivers for people and the planet.
Chris has an MSc (Distinction) in Business Information Technology Systems (Strathclyde Graduate Business School), a BA Honours in Geography (University of Strathclyde) and professional qualifications in management, marketing, and project management.
