Programme Director at Scottish Cities Alliance (SCA)

Iain is the Programme Director of the Scottish Cities Alliance, a partnership of Scotland’s eight cities (Aberdeen, Dundee, Dunfermline, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Inverness, Perth and Stirling) and the Scottish Government, working in collaboration to attract investment and create sustainable economic growth.

A key focus for the Alliance partners has been supporting the Scottish cities with their transition to net zero while working across the public sector landscape in the UK and with the private and academic sectors.

In his role as Programme Director for the Scottish Cities Alliance, Iain is able to connect the work of the Research Alliance into the challenges and opportunities facing the Scottish cities from transitioning to net zero, ensuring the work of the research Alliance is impactful and has practical application across urban Scotland.
