About the Programme

Led by Dr Emilka Skrzypek, the Emerging Research Leaders Programme is a skills development initiative designed for early career researchers (ECRs) across all disciplines.

At its core are annual training workshops designed to help participants:

• Enhance the impact of their research
• Develop leadership skills
• Build confidence in public and academic engagement

In addition to training, the programme also offers:

• Networking opportunities with peers and experts
• Knowledge exchange across disciplines
• Collaborative dialogue on one of Scotland’s most urgent challenges: Creating fair and sustainable pathways to a net zero future.
